It's Monday and after the long holiday weekend I'm dragging my butt to get going. I started a new story last night. I shut down the computer and headed to bed, but couldn't sleep. So I got back up and started writing again. Now I'm tired, but oh the lack of sleep is worth it. so this morning I'm going to take you through a simple meditation to help you balance for the upcoming week.
A simple Chakra meditation.
Sit or lie on your back. Start at your crown chakra, the top of your head. Imagine the pressure and stress of your day washing away.
Surround yourself with white light.
Draw your focus lower, to the third eye charka centered over the forehead. Once open will bring awareness to time, light and intuition.
Swallow. Relax the muscles in your face. Focus calming energy to the throat chakra, the center for communication.
Take a deep breath. Exhale. Allow your arms to hang limp at your sides. Focus on your chest, the heart chakra. Love, balance and harmony.
Spiritual and physical energy is centered in the solar plexus chakra. Deep breath. Slowly exhale. Release tension.
Imagine white light surrounding you. Focus your thoughts on the sacral chakra, the heart of your sexuality. Imagine calm, soothing warmth.
Finally, allow all tension to leave your body through the root charka. Strengthen your spiritual power, yet ground yourself so that you can focus and achieve your goals. Allow your body to become heavy, relaxed, open to the flow of energy through the chakras.
Deep inhale. Exhale.
