Good Morning,

Thank you to those who shared part of their holiday with me by stopping by my blog. Everyone who posted yesterday is a winner! I'll put the list up in a bit on what everyone will receive. I need everyone who posted yesterday to email me at KyAnnWaters@hotmail.com. I usually go find the email addy of the winner, but with so many, it would be a great favor to me if you would email me. thanks

Last night we had a blast at the demolition derby. I think my 8 year old sees a future career. lol. I've suspect my 10 year old is military bound. Although I'm sure at this age all little boys love GI Joe.

I've always loved to write. Started my first romance novel when I was in my early twenties, but didn't decide to attempt to become a publisher author until Jan of 2006. From there it's been a wild ride.

I signed an agent in April 2006 and my first contract for an e-publisher about the same time. I recently parted ways with my agent, but I have contracted/released stories with e-publishers. So yes, I am happy with my chosen career.

Do you remember what you wanted to be when you grew up?

Today's winner will receive Eternal Rapture.
(if you don't read erotic romance, I have a substitution for you)

Long ago on the shore of the Sea of the Arabah five brothers were born... all immortal. To defend their destiny they must protect their eternal love.

Selene Farrell wasn't herself...or was she? Since arriving at Anthony Mager's remote castle to appraise ancient emeralds she's been thrown back and forth in an erotic history lesson. In each memory the man of the castle, kissed, inflamed... bloody well fucked the life out of her. Her drenched panties couldn't take another orgasm-real or imagined.
However, she's also remembered her death. How is that possible? And will discovering the truth once again put her life in danger?

Hi KyAnn!

I always loved to cook, even as a young girl. My mom would come home from work, and I'd have something new for her to try (my tuna salad with olives wasn't such a big hit, I remember...LOL). I started cooking dinner for the family (one of my daily chores) when I was about 12. So I always wanted to own a restaurant. I still do, actually, although writing is something I'll always do. I, too, started writing in my early 20s (I have tons of half written manuscripts under my desk), but didn't finish one until October 2004, which is when I joined RWA & WisRWA. :-)

I wanted to be a lawyer. I guess looking at all those series on television with beautiful and smart female lawyers played a role here. Well, that didn't happen.

As a kid I wanted to be a gymnast after watching the Summer Olympics. I can't remember which Olympics it was. I was just amazed at what these gymnast could do thinking I could be the next Mary Lou Retton.

I wanted to be an airline stewardess. Their was a height regulation back then and I was too short.

Hi, I have always been fickle, so what I wanted to be when I grew up was always changing. Even in college, I lost credits, because I changed majors so many times. I suppose one theme did play throughout time and that would be an area where I hoped to help people. My degree is in Psychology/
Speech Communication. Enjoy your
day.....Thanks, Cindi

Hi KyAnn! When I was really little, I wanted to be Indian Princess of the World. That's because I loved fairy tales and stories about Pocahonta (this was WAY before the Disney film, lol). When I got older, I wanted to be an actress, singer, and writer, but eventually narrowed it down to the last one. Which is still my ambition; though I'm getting my PhD in history and hope to teach, I still write poetry and keep a story going through my mind at all times.

Hi KyAnn -

When I was really little, I wanted to be a Mommy. Not "just" a Mommy (and note the capitalization), because I was a child of the 50s and 60s. In high school, I fancied myself to be the next Margaret Meade.

I did achieve Mommy-hood (my babies are 23 and 26), and have a BA in Anthropology and Psychology, and an MEd in Cross Cultural Counseling. I began a PhD program in a combo of Anthro, Psych and Linguistics (looking at child language acquisition from a cross-cultural POV) but quit to get married and do the baby-making thing.

I'm doing some editing and marketing now, and still am not really sure what I want to be when I grow up, but I'm only 52, so I have plenty of time, right?

Hey Kyann,

Love erotic romance and the book sounds like a great read. My nephew would have had a ball at the demolition derby, he is 9 yrs. old. He just loves to smash his magnetics cars together and have them fall apart and then puts them back together again.

Hi KyAnn, When I was young I actually wanted to be housewife staying home taking care of my two kids. I think it's because my parents were divorced and I wanted the opposite for my family when I had one. Then when I was 16 I thought it would be fun to become a Flight Attendant and travel.

OK, I am sure mine is going to sound morbid, but I wanted to be a forensic pathologist. When I was younger, I never really thought about it. Then, when I got older and started reading Patricia Cornwell and other medical/murder mysteries, I wanted to be the one to solve the crime. Plus, when I was younger my Grandma made me watch Quincy. Hee hee.

thank you for the awesome replies.

I can remember wanting to be a mom, but I spent so many years watching my little brothers and sisters, it took a while to get that dream back.

I also love Patricia Cornwell's books.

Today's winner is Dena!
